Annual Pumpkin Carving Contest
Pumpkin carving time! Join the AWOL Dive Club for amazing day scuba diving at Blue Lake. Bring a pumpkin (already gutted) and try your hand at carving underwater. First place gets a $100 gift card to the shop! Make it epic and wear a costume as well!
Undersea Treasure Hunting with Barry Dunford
FREE TO THE PUBLIC. Join the AWOL Dive Team for a night of Undersea Treasure Hunting with Barry Dunford. Barry has had a long and successful career as a scuba diver. His many adventures include shipwreck discoveries, like the famous Atocha wreck in 1985. Barry will have on many pieces on display and will be available for questions after the presentation. Belize 2021
Belize is home to the longest stretch of coral in the western hemisphere and, in addition to its barrier reef, it also boasts 3 distinct Caribbean atolls. This means that you can enjoy diving a number of different coral reefs including walls, pinnacles and reef flats that are located throughout an enormous area of sea.
Palau 2019
Palau left us all speechless. Nowhere else in the world can you dive on WW2 shipwrecks, in a cave and with a million jellyfish all in one day!
1st Annual Dierkes Lake Clean-Up
Thank you to everyone who showed up for this event! Over 30 divers showed up to help clean Dierkes Lake and it’s surrounding banks. Over 400 lbs removed. GO AWOL!
Bonaire 2019
Shore dive capital of the world! We had so much fun driving around the island and diving wherever we wanted. There was beautiful coral and hundreds of fish species on every dive.
